Montenegro’s government bought 201,200 doses of Sinopharm vaccines.
On April 30, 2021, North Macedonia’s health authorities received a shipment of 200,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine, bought directly from the manufacturer. Authorities have not disclosed how much the contract was worth.
Serbia was the first European country to purchase the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine. The first contingent arrived in January 2021. Details of the deal remain secret and the price paid is still unknown. President Vucic said he had managed to negotiate a more favourable deal for Serbia.
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation on production of the Chinese Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine in Serbia with a Chinese manufacturer and partner from the United Arab Emirates. President Aleksandar Vucic said the plant would be ready by the end of March 2022.
China Sinopharm International Corporation signed a deal with Republika Srpska's Health Minister Alen Seranic to construct a hospital in Doboj, in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Serb-led entity, in March 2019. Work started in December 2020. The first phase was completed in September 2021. The project should be finished by the end of 2022.
Some 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine were delivered to Bosnia’s Federation of BiH entity on August 6. The shipment cost 12 million Bosnian marks, acording to media reports.
