China National Electric Engineering Company said in June 2021 that they and the Polish-Chinese Sunningwell International LTD signed a contract for the Ugljevik 3 Coal-fired Power Plant and its construction.
 

The Power Construction Corporation of China should build a 28km heating pipeline and four pumping stations to supply Belgrade with heating.

The Chinese Zijin Mining Group was officialy chosen as a strategic partner of the Mining and Smelting Basin Bor, RTB, at the end of August 2018. The company commited to investing around 300 million euro for 63 per cent ownership share of RTB. In 2020, the local assembly of Bor filed a criminal complaint against the company Zijin Bor for air pollution.
 

Republika Srpska’s highway company JP Autoputevi RS signed a deal with the China's Sinohydro company to construct a 62-kilometre section of the Glamocani-Mlinista motorway, worth 600 million euro. The deal was signed in November 2016, but work has yet to started.
 

The representatives of Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting System Co, Ltd., Serbia’s Economy Ministry and the southern city of Nis signed a MoU after the company said it was interested in opening a factory in Serbia which would supply its clients in Europe. The company’s products range includes beam moving heads, LED lights, outdoor lights, laser lights and light control systems.

Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development signed in 2017 a Strategic Partnership Agreement for the development of information and communication infrastructure in educational institutions with representatives of Huawei in Beijing.

A consortium of public companies founded by China: China National Machinery Industry Corporation, SINOMACH, and China National Electric Engineering Corporation Limited, CNEEC, has shown interest in developing the first industrial, commercial and technology park in Ub, in cooperation with the Serbian government and the Municipality of Ub.

The China Road and Bridge Corporation, CRBC, is planing the construction of a 300-million-euro Serbian-Chinese industrial park in Belgrade.

In August 2018, representatives of China's Shandong Linglong compant and the Serbian Government signed an agreement on the construction of a car tyre factory in Zrenjanin, in which around 880 million euro will be invested and where 1,500 people will be employed. From the very beginning, the investment has been the subject of critisism due to the company's possible impact on the environment, as well as the poor treatment of its workers.
 

Mei Ta's second factory of the company was opened in Obrenovac in June 2019. The Chinese company invested 90 million euros in the project. In total, Mei Ta invested 150 million euro in the two Serbian factories while the state participated with up to 35 per cent of the total investment.
